Christian Pares how was the Do or Die Showcase?
Very excited for the opportunity to showcase my skills to coaches around the area. Unfortunately the weather ended the camp early and we weren’t able to finish the showcase, seeing athletes and coaches from different places was a great experience.
How has your college camp season been so far?
It’s gone by quick! Traveling around the area has been a challenge due to the distances but overall I’m enjoying it so far.
What schools have you been talking to so far?
Minnesota State at Moorhead, Winona State, Indiana Wesleyan, Saint Anslem University, University of Indianapolis
What does football mean to you?
Football is a constant grind. I love this game way to much for myself to slack on it.
How does Wheaton Academy look this season?
Our team has a lot of potential for this season, we just need to keep putting in the work during the off-season. Should be a good year for us.
What should college coaches know about you?
I’m a hard working young man. Being coachable has really been a necessity for me to have that’s something I work hard on.
What has been the best piece of advice you gotten from your brother about football?
The best piece of advice that has my brother has given me is to seek out communication with as many coaches as possible in order to reach my goal to play college football.
