Camden Hirsch Class of 2021 Naperville North LB/ER 6'3 190

Camden Hirsch how was your 2018 season?

It had it’s ups and downs. It was kinda rough because I was moved around so much I ended up practicing and playing at multiple positions. Towards the end of the season they needed help on the o-line and I stepped up to help out. The 2018 season was a great learning experience for me as I went through some adversity. But in the end it made me a better player and teammate and I will carry that into this season.

What should college coaches know about you?

I have a great work ethic and I’m always looking to improve and better my self. I’m never satisfied I always have to keep pushing and find ways to make it to where I want to be.

How was your North Central college camp day?

Overall it was a great experience. I thought I preformed well. It was also interesting to see where other kids where at with their skills because after the camp I knew what I had to work on and what I was ahead of the curve at. It was also great to see some of my teammates there like Matt Maschmeier and Anthony Gabrione.

What goal do you have for yourself this season?

I want to compete at the highest level I can and fly around and make big plays for my team. To prepare for the season, Xoach Arthur already has me looking at film and is pushing me to be the best I can be. He does a really good job of getting the most out of his players.

What position do you feel most comfortable in?

Linebacker is definitely my home. I love how versatile of a position it is one play you could be dropping back in coverage and the next you could be rushing the QB. There are a lot of responsibilities that come with it but it’s all worth it.

What do you feel was your best play last season?

There was a play against Metea where I was pulling to my left and I came up and cracked a linebacker. We were just going straight for each other and I ended up winning it.
