Amaris Campbell Peoria Richwoods ATH Class of 2020 6'0 165

Amaris Campbell how was your 2018 season?

Great, it was fun being out there under the lights on Friday nights playing with a group of guys I had so much love for. I had a great coaching staff that helped lead us to a 6-3 overall season record and make the playoffs.

New school for you this season... What excites you the most about Richwoods?

Due to my fathers job moving back to Peoria now I am playing for Richwoods High school in Peoria. Last year I played for Rich East in Chicago. I have a chance to play along side my good friend Juwann Holmes, Cristian Leverett, and Jaymon Moore I have known for many years for my last high school season. I have also participated in many camps this year with my team and realized that we have a good explosive and dedicated team core and that excites me to see what we can do this year.

What should college coaches know about you?

Coaches should know that I am very dedicated, I work hard, and that I'm an athlete and very versatile on the field, I'm a person you can count on no matter if we are on the field or not. also that i put my trust in them no matter what the situation

What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason?

I have been working on my speed and quickness when running my receiver routes. Also, getting stronger so I play run defense.

What goal do you have for yourself this season?

I want my team to go far in the playoff and in the process make a name for myself. I feel like I have to start over since moving back to Peoria.

What schools have you talked to so far?

Southern Illinois, Eastern Illinois, Amherst College, Quincy University, Augustana.

Remember Deep Dish Football Is Just Not About Recruiting But About The Love Of The Game Of IHSA Football
