Pat Strocchia how was your 2018 season?
2018 was a very busy and exciting season, I was a sophomore last year and I was on both jv and varsity rosters for tight end and outside line backer. Our varsity won the 5a championship and our jv went 7-2 and lost in a very close conference championship game. So overall a great season.
What should college coaches know about you?
My dedication in the classroom is as strong as my dedication on the football field. My GPA is a 4.2 at Joliet Catholic Academy, I have had a love for football since a young age and all my teammates are my brothers
How has your summer college camp season been so far?
On Tuesday June 4th I went to the North Central Collage football camp I learned a lot and I really enjoyed the experience. I was suppose to return on Thursday and attend the Northwestern showcase on June 8th, but I couldn’t go because at JCA camp on Wednesday I jammed my finger and I did not want to attend unless I was at 100%. My finger is now better and I plan to go to a few more camps this summer
What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason?
This offseason I have been working on my speed, stamina, agility, getting off the ball quick on routes, strength training with my team 5 days a week and overall my versatility as a player
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the field?
I feel my strongest trait is my catching ability and my hustle
What is your goal for this upcoming season?
My goal is to play both ways of the ball, contribute to my team as much as possible, win another state championship, and lastly to continue to learn and grow as a player
