Stuart Ross Class of 2020 Springfield Southeast 6'1 170
Stuart Ross how was your 2018 season?
It was an exciting year, but the team and I were very disappointed in just missing the playoffs. We had a really good team, and I believe we were a lot better than our 4-5 record.
How was the Concordia camp for you?
It went well. They put on a great camp and I love an opportunity to compete.
What should college coaches know about you?
I’m a competitor. If there’s competition I’m there for it. I also lead by example. I’m a hard worker and hungry to learn to keep getting better.
What schools have you been talking to so far?
Augustana, Illinois Wesleyan, and Greenville have been great to me, but I’ve also talked to some bigger schools like Illinois State and Southern Illinois.
What do you feel was your best play last season?
Personally I think my best play was against Springfield High. On 4th down I broke a tackle in the backfield and scrambled to my right to hit my receiver (Dakota Coons) who went 60+ yards for a TD.
What do you like about playing QB?
It’s just exciting! I get to lead an offense and score touchdowns to help my team.
Funniest player on the Springfield Southeast team?
It’s between our left tackle Eric Tyler and our running back Tyree Coleman. They keep things light.
