Joey Pawlak Class of 2020 Marian Central Catholic Linebacker 6'0 190
Joey Pawlak how was your 2018 season?
It was a season of highs and lows. Our team started off great, but I feel as if our team chemistry was off. I did not play as much as I wanted to, but I will keep working hard to play this year.
What schools have talked to you so far?
As of now I have not talked to any regarding football. I have had a couple college visits for academic purposes but have not had any for football. I am open to taking to schools for football though.
What does your college summer camp schedule look like?
Well, I will be on the lookout for camps. Coach Fortin will be sending me camps around the level of D3 or NAIA so I will attend those. I am excited
What part of your game have you been working on this offseason?
Definitely strength and explosiveness. I’m a wrestler, so explosiveness is a big factor in that sport. I’m also lifting as heavy as I can to get to top shape for my senior season.
What should college coaches know about you?
College coaches should know I’m committed, I love the game of football, and I have a team first mentality.
What goal do you have for yourself this season?
My goal is definitely a playoff run. This is my last season in High School, and I want to make it memorable. We have the tools to do it.
What game are you most looking forward to?
First game, Johnsburg. I just can’t wait to get back on the field and prove myself in front of our home crowd. It will be exciting.
