Jaxson Forman Class of 2020 DL/OL 5'9 235 Belvidere
Jaxson how was your 2018 season?
It was pretty good, our record as a team improved from the year before. Personally, I felt like I made strides in my game, but I’ll continue to try to improve.
What do you like about playing in the trenches?
Definitely the togetherness and grit it takes to play on the line, you have to all be on the same page, and play with all you have every down, or else the play will be a bust.
What does Belvidere football mean to you?
It means a lot. The history of the program, having random people come up to you in the community to ask how it’s going, and the family bond of the team. Also, it’s taught me so much since BJT, on and off the field that I couldn’t have learned without being a Buc. I couldn’t imagine playing for anyone else.
When I say "undersized", What does that mean to you?
It means that I lack the “eye test.” So, I’ll probably get overlooked by other teams and colleges. Also, I might be a smaller guy, but whatever I lack in height and weight I make up for in heart, work ethic, and passion. So, I might be 5’9 but that hasn’t stopped me from competing against the guys that are 6’5.
How does Belvidere football look this season?
It’s definitely going to be improved from last year, we’ve had guys in the weight room since January working their butts off, and it’s shown so far. The foundation to “rebuild” Buc football has been laid over the last few years, and we’re going to look to continue to pave the way for the future guys this year.
Who on Belvidere should I also be looking out for this season?
Isaiah Rhodes, Brandon Childers, Jonathon Ceballos, Howie Goston, and Dillon Reidinger.
Favorite pregame meal is?
100 percent Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo
