Coach Big Pete's 10 Illinois Recruits From The Class Of 2020 That You Might Not Know But Should

Spring is here, so for these couple weeks Im going to be doing some videos and articles about the Class of 2020. We know who the big names are, now its time to take a look at some names you might not know.

Jake Holten Collinsville ATH 5'10 187 HUDL

Spark plug player, that plays till the whistle. Played at DB and WR, will be a name to watch this summer. One of those players that adds a certain chemistry to a team.

Jeremiah Branson Althoff Catholic ER 6'2 200 HUDL

Branson is a top edge rusher in Illinois, and quick off his first step. What will be intresting is seeing how progresses in his coverages maybe foreshadowing for linebacker.

Jacob Waskow Canton DL 6'4 225 HUDL

Intresting recruit out of Canton, could be used in many different shades. Another Fall recruit to keep an eye out for during the season.

Jalon Benson Harlem WR 5'10 175 HUDL

Has one of the best QBs throwing the ball to him, but dont be fooled Jalon is a playmaker. Ability to split coverages is what makes this kid a intresting recruit.

Matthew Chavers Freeport RB 5'10 205 HUDL

Top RB in the state of Illinois, but still deserves more looks. Athletic, multi sport star not to mention the fact this a high character kid as well.

Austin Pullara Coal City LB 6'2 205 HUDL

Austin is athletic linebacker, with great ability to read and react to the play. Again another Coal City player that plays multiple spots and multiple sports. Him and Crawford are two Coalers to lookout for this season.

Evan Ramirez Edwardsville LB 6'1 220 HUDL

Evan is long list of Edwardsville players that deserve more looks this year. Athletic linebacker that makes great pursuits and gets to the ball.

Sean Carpenter Fenwick OL 6'5 270 HUDL

Really think Mr. Carpenter is going to have breakout season in 2019. Will be a player to watch in this fall recruiting season and in the summer camps.

Riley Smith Prairie Ridge OL/DT 6'3 275 HUDL

Look another big bruising lineman from the land of giants. Really like this kid's speed and his ability to take to the second level.

CJ Dunn Bradley Bourbonnais ER 6'3 185 HUDL

Quick off of his set and ability to contain is what makes CJ so special. Is a name that is starting to pick up even more in this early spring.
