Drayton Charlton-Perrin how was your 2018 season?
It went very well. Our team made a playoff run and that’s a big step in the right direction for us heading into the new conference. I also felt I personally had a good year and helped contribute to the success of our team. Overall I’m very content with how it went but I have much to improve on this year.
What schools have you talked to so far?
I haven’t really been in contact with any schools. I’m still trying to get exposure and get some schools to start giving me looks.
What should college coaches know about you?
They should know that I put in a lot of work behind the scenes to be successful. I find time to get in the weight room even on a tight schedule. They should also know that I’m super competitive and don’t like the taste of losing.
What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason?
I’ve been really working on cleaning up my routes and making better separation in one on one match ups.
What excites you the most about this upcoming season?
My team is entering a new conference with some better teams so I am excited to show what we can do when the lights get a little brighter. I think we are going to surprise some people this year and show that Glenbrook North Football is hungry and ready to eat.
What goal do you have for yourself this season?
I’m very ambitious and want to be all state. I think if I keep putting in the work and put my faith in my team and buy in to what we are doing, that could be a realistic possibility.
Who are some players on Glenbrook North I should keep an eye out for this upcoming season?
Quarterback Dylan Buckner and Wide Receiver Andrew Koulogeorge. These are two players that will make a big impact for us this season and you should definitely keep a set of eyes on them.
