Blaise Reichert Lyons QB Class of 2020 6'2 175

Blaise Reichert how was your 2018 season?

My 2018 season exceeded all expectations I had going into the season. Although the record might not have shown it, last season was a great learning experience that I can use to expand my game next year. Not only did I gain lots of experience playing at the varsity level, I learned how to adapt to adversities such as injury after being thrown into the starting role after quarterback JJ Dutton injured his thumb during practice going into our 3rd game.

What excites you the most about new head coach Hartman?

He brings a sense of winning. Coach Hartman has proven to be a very successful coach throughout his career and there is lots of room to grow from last year

You have nice group of underrated WRs for this upcoming season... What does that mean to you?

Having skilled WRs is beneficial to all quarterbacks, especially when they’re just as motivated to do great things as you are. To me, it means that they’ll be able to extend plays beyond where the ball is caught and make big things happen.

What should college coaches know about you?

Coaches should know that I am serious both on the field and in the class room. I am constantly bettering myself whether it’s in the weight room lifting or at home studying.

What goal do you have for yourself this season?

My goal for myself this year is to lead my team to the playoffs at least. I do not want to look back at next year and regret not putting in 100% effort.

What does your summer college camp schedule look like?

I have not scheduled any summer college camps yet.

Remember Deep Dish Football Is Just Not About Recruiting But About The Love Of The Game Of Football In The IHSA
