Bastian Swinney how was your 2018 season?
I’d like to say i had a pretty solid 2018 season, being my first year starting on varsity.
What was the toughest part of varsity for you to grasp?
Taking care of my body and getting in the weight room more frequently.
What does football mean to you?
To me, football means discipline, brotherhood, respect and fun.
What should college coaches know about you?
That I have a good work ethic, I have a high football IQ, very coachable, and I’m a good teammate. I’ll do whatever it takes
What schools have you talked to so far?
I’ve been in touch with Iowa state, university of Iowa, university of Minnesota, Nebraska, Michigan State, Kansas State, Wyoming and Ball State.
How does Edina look for this upcoming season?
We’re putting in the work now to ensure we are a competitive team next year.

Will Davis, he going to be a senior DE and he’s got some skill.
What is your favorite pregame meal?
Two Italian sandwiches from jimmy johns with a chocolate chip cookie, jalapeño chips and a sweet tea.
