Elijah Williams Class of 2020 LB Saint Ignatius 6'2 211

Elijah WIlliams how was your 2018 season?

Looking back, I feel that I had a good season, but there was room for improvement. I played OLB, which was a new position for me, but I loved the challenge

What did you find challenging about playing linebacker?

Making sure on my pass rush I didn’t get too far up field, and improving on my footwork/ hands at the line of scrimmage to stuff the run.

What should college coaches know about you?

College coaches should know that when I come into the program, I am willing to play any role in order to win. I will be the hardest worker, vocal presence, and compete with anyone.

What does football mean to you?

Football is very important to me. From bonding with team, to studying film on Saturdays. Football is a sport that you must truly love in order to play at a high level.

What does your summer college camp schedule look like?

To kick off the summer, I will be going to the Northwestern camp in June, following it with the NIU camp. My schedule in July as of right now is open, but I’m looking for camps and visits to fill it with.

What goal do you have for yourself this season?

This year I want to be All-Conference, especially with the combining of the ESCC and CCL and make a run in the State Playoffs.

What game are most looking forward to this season?

That’s a tough question. We play Loyola and Fenwick, with both games being rivalries. However, going 3-0 against Fenwick on senior night would take the cake.
