Dontae Woods how was your 2018 season?
I was proud of myself but know I have more to prove and that I am capable of. I learned a lot about my strengths and weaknesses and what I needed to work on to get better. As for my team as well. We have all been training really hard all season and off season to make 2019 a great season! Training with BOOM and competing with them has pushed me to work harder. My stats for the season were REC:10 Yards 245 YDS/G: 49 YDS/REC:24.5 TDs:3 and GP:5
What schools have you talked to so far?
I have received a few emails for camps to fill out and recruit forms but thats about it. Mckendree University , Judson University personally reached out to me . I'm trying to work on things now to get more exposure. Like college days, camps, visits, my twitter page. My mom has been trying to help me. Boom has helped me a lot in understanding steps and things I need to try to take to get recruited.
What should college coaches know about you?
I know I have what it takes and I give my all everyday to football and want it 100%! My goal is to play college ball and I hope to get into a Division 1 on a scholarship. I train hard and work hard for my dream. I also have a 4.6 GPA and have maintained honor all semesters. From AM work outs in the weight room before school to running track to gain speed, and training with Boom on Sundays and competing on weekends. I am ALL IN! 100% 365 days.
How does Bremen look for the upcoming season?
Our Varsity is looking better than ever! We did have an undefeated season Freshman year. Soph year I got moved up to Varsity. It was a learning experience for sure. All the guys on my high school team I have been playing football with since like 5th grade. We have chemistry together. Its just bringing that chemistry back alive that we have been working on. We have been training together ever since season ended and training hard to make sure we are all giving it 100%. Most of us are going to be seniors. We all have dreams of college football. This is our last year to give it all and are committed to giving our all and hopes of another undefeated season to end our high school careers with. It is a promise we all made to each this year to train together all the way up until next season. We all decided to run track together, we all hit the weight room together, meet together after school and on weekends to run drills and plays. We are all committed and ALL IN! They are also there to cheer me on at Boom tournaments. We all want the same thing and support each other. We all want to play college football.
What goal do you have for yourself this season?
Main goal for me is to be all- state - no doubt about it! Also, to win!
