Jalon Benson how was your 2018 season?
My 2018 season was great I peaked in touchdowns and overall had a great season on offense, defense and special teams.
Favorite memory of the season?
My favorite memory would have to be the entire east vs Harlem game it was intense there was smack talk all week and we brought our A-game
What schools have you talked to so far?
Iowa,Iowa state,Cincinnati, Ball state, Illinois State, Purdue, Columbia, Harvard, Yale, Kentucky, western Michigan, Eastern and Western Illinois, South and North Dakota , Penn, Minnesota, UI , eastern Kentucky and a couple more I can’t name off the top of my head
What should college coaches know about you?
I am dynamic player I can play defense just as week as offense and I’m a fast, competitive learner and player
Tell me how good is James Cooper your QB?
He’s great he puts the ball on the spot almost anytime and he doesn’t fold when pressure presents itself in the pocket he’s grown dramatically since freshman year
What does Harlem football mean to you?
It means family it’s like a brotherhood among our team I my teammates as family
What goal do you have for yourself this upcoming season?
My goal would be to make more defensive plays and be the biggest captain/leader on the team
