Sean Torres Class of 2020 LB Benet Academy 5'10 215

Sean Torres how was you 2018 season?

Pretty good. I felt like I learned and improved a lot as a player.

Favorite memory?

Our game against Joliet Catholic. It was a really close game and our defense made a really good stop to hold them to a field goal. Offense ended up scoring to put the game away.

What should college coaches know about you?

I am a team player. I care about being the best I can be and I work hard to achieve my goals. I am coachable, I work hard to correct my flaws, and I am a good student in the classroom

What do you like about playing linebacker?

I like the flexibility and responsibility of the position. I like being able to rush the passer and cover the run, and I also like defending in open space and dropping into pass coverage.

So what game are you looking the most forward to this upcoming season?

I am looking forward to our first game, Naperville North. I find myself always being the most excited for the first game of the season.

Who is a player on Benet that you think is going to have a big season ?

I think that Cole Walsh is going to have a really big season this year. He was a solid player last year and has been working really hard this offseason.

What you think about the ESCC and Chicago Catholic League merger?

I think it’s a great opportunity for Benet to play against some different teams and show off our potential as a program. I think that the merger is a really positive thing for us
