Brendon Bishop Class of 2020 Kicker/WR Williamsville 5'11 150

Brendon Bishop how was your 2018 season?

Good, we went 8-1 in our conference, and lost in the 3rd round of the playoffs to a good Carlinville football team. At the end of the year I was named a second team all conference kicker

Favorite memory from last season?

Driving down field against Maroa right before halftime and catching a touchdown. Then we ran a fake I threw a 2pt conversion.

What should college coaches know about you?

I’m hardworking in the classroom and on the field. I’m typically the captain of whatever team I am on, and I’m willing to do what’s best for the team.

What does Sangamo football mean to you?

I think it’s one of if not the best small school conference in Illinois. I’m very grateful to of had the opportunity to be apart of it.

What do you like about kicking?

I feel like it’s more of a mental thing than it is physical. It’s like I’m in a tunnel when I’m out there kicking. It’s just an escape from everything in those short few seconds.

How does Williamsville look this upcoming season?

Good we have a lot of rolls to be filled on both sides of the ball, but we have young talent that will work themselves in.

What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason to prepare yourself for the upcoming season?

I have been training with Neal Rackers and David Brader who are two former NFL kickers. We’ve just worked on the technical aspect of my kicking, and it really showed how much more there was to kicking.

Who are some Williamsville players I should keep an eye out for the upcoming season?

Will Kistner and Hunter Moser both in the class of 2022. They are both very athletic and see the field very well. I would look out for them in coming years.
