Kyle Gockman how was your 2018 season?

My 2018 season was a great learning experience. As a sophomore I learned a lot from my teammates and coaches

Favorite memory from that season?

I would say our big win against Plainfield North. The team really came together that day.

What should college coaches know about you?

I’m not a selfish player. I play for my teammates and coaches. I’ve been a captain my life.

How is Plainfield Central looking for this upcoming season?

We are putting in the hard work that will pay off when the season starts. We all expect to have a winning season this year

What goal do you have for yourself this season?

First goal is to make the playoffs. For myself it is to be a leader and also make All Conference as a Junior.

What do you think a common misconception is about Plainfield Central football?

Because of all the losing season in the past I don’t think teams take us as a threat. It’s time to prove them wrong

What have you been doing in the offseason to improve yourself for the upcoming season?

Working on my speed and also doing a lot of dynamics to prevent injuries. I’m also working hard in the weight room to build up my strength.
