Davion Wilson how was your 2018 season?
Well I knew what I had to do this year since I’ve started varsity as a sophomore so I had more experience with the varsity level so it made it a lot easier for me. Sadly I’ve gotten turf toe before my first game played through it the whole season which made me rush over 1300 yards. Me and my team went 5-5 made to the first round playoffs and that was new for me because that was my first time ever attending a playoff game.
What does football mean to you?
Football mean a lot to me i don’t know what I’ll do with the best sport on earth . I’ve been playing football ever since the 3rd grade and made me realize that this sport is for me . Also in football it makes me take my anger out a lot more
What would you like college coaches to know about you?
I would like college coaches to know that I have the abilities to do whatever I’m asked to do on the field to make us win a football game
How weird is it going to be for you this season with the two big guys graduating?
Those two guys were a blessing for me . Now everyone is promised to run behind a 6’5 and a 6’6 OL but like I’ve been sayin since the season was over I will continue to have big games and the yardage that I’ve been getting and have a good relationship like I had with them two with my new 2019 Offensive line
What goal do you have for yourself this season?
My goal this season is for me to break Alzono Wise high school rushing record and win a state championship with my teammates
What game are you most looking forward to this season?
Moline, my high school career I’ve haven’t beat moline but this season gonna be different
Who is one guy on Rock Island that I should be on the lookout for this season?
Jaiden Vancollie very physical , quick , love big hits and also a power runner
Who is one of the toughest linebackers you faced last season?
One of the toughest linebackers I’ve faced was my last game against Richards high school #9 don’t remember name
