Marcus Griffin how was your 2018 season?
Our season was the definition of success we finished the season 13-1 state champions. This past season was one of the best of my life I had the most fun playing with teammates like Mike Love and Diamond Evans and Cameron Leach and many more those were just some of the many characters on our team
What would you like college coaches to know about you?
I would like college coaches to know that I am a fearless person. I fear no man. I never quit. And Everything I start, I finish.
What does football mean to you?
Football is my everything it’s my natural high. Football takes my mind off of everything. It’s my way out
When I say "undersized" what does that mean to you?
It’s just a stereotype. If a school wants to pass on me because of my height and not even giving me a chance by watching my film then maybe that school isn’t for me.
Saw you play against Marist…. You play motivated, What motivates a Marcus Griffin?
My brother roger griffin he was shot before the season started and every practice, workout, game I played for him
What goal do you have for yourself next season?
Exceed the expectations of being a good captain, be all state, break the single season tackles record at my school, and lead my team to another state championship
What position do you feel most comfortable in?
God put me here to play ILB and lay the wood
Favorite part of playing high school football?
I would have to say the fan crowd. It’s a special feeling hearing them chant every game
