Joe Smith how was your 2018 season?

My 2018 season was a lot of fun, it did not end the way the team and I would have liked but it was a lot of fun and it was very memorable

Favorite memory from last season?

My favorite memory last season was, beating Dekalb in a comeback win during our homecoming game.

What would you like college coaches to know about you?

I would like college coaches to know that I am passionate, hard working and reliable.

How does this Kaneland squad look in 2019?

The Kaneland squad in 2019 is looking very promising, with a very solid class of 2020, with offensive threats including Colton Doll and Max Gagne. There are also many 2021 athletes and a lot of leadership on this team.

What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason?

This offseason I have been working on my arm strength and footwork, also I’m trying to put on weight

Favorite route to pass to?

My favorite route to throw is the wheel route.

Game you are most looking forward to this upcoming season?

I am most looking forward to playing Sycamore week 3.

What goal do you have for yourself this season?

My goal is to have a passer rating above 100.
