Jack McCloskey Class of 2020 QB Belleville West 6'0 175
Jack McCloskey how was your 2018 season?
I think I had a pretty good junior season, but as a team We didn’t accomplish everything we wanted to.
What do you think you need to improve on in the offseason?
The main thing I want to improve is my speed and ability to escape the pocket.
What was your favorite memory from last season?
My favorite memory was probably our homecoming Game against Belleville East, the game was live on the news and knowing most of the crosstown players made the game special. Also winning 45-3 and having five passing touchdowns makes it a good memory.
What should college coaches know about you?
Coaches should know even though I’m not the tallest or fastest i love the game and I will work hard all the time to continue to improve my game. To be the best I can be.
What do you like about playing QB?
I like being the leader of the offense and having the opportunity to lead my team down the field. Other than that I feel lucky to have the younger players look up to me.
What games are you most looking forward to for the upcoming season?
Probably the Edwardsville game, we played so bad against them this year and lost bad in a game we were favored in. Our program hasn’t beaten Edwardsville in seven or eight years, it’s a streak I want to end my senior year.
Give some Belleville West players to be on the lookout for this upcoming season?
Dominic Lovett, Jordan Bruce, Kalon Carraway And Logan Seibert.
What goal do you have for yourself this season?
First, to win a playoff game second, get a scholarship offer.
