Chatting With Kaneland's Senior Running Back Jonathan Alstott

So in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for Illinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know , but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams

Jonathan Alstott how was your season?

The season went great! I mean it hurts to not win a state championship. But besides that our team had many accomplishments. Personally it was a great year for me and I can’t thank my O-line enough! Every award I win is theirs too.

What was your favorite memory this season?

Picking up the 1st Down against DeKalb so we could run the clock out and beat them

What does Kaneland football mean to you?

It means the world to me! Kaneland Football molded me as a man. The program is only going to get better and I’m excited to watch.

What colleges have you been talking to?

Aurora University, Augustana College, Elmhurst North Central, UW OshKosh

What would you like college coaches to know about you?

I’ll always work hard! No matter what it is. I’m a competitor that wants to play! I wanna help my future team win some football games

Who is a Kaneland player to keep an eye out for next season?

Will Giffney he’s a solid linebacker and a amazing athlete. He only has room for improvement! He’ll do big things next year.

What do you tell the senior class about next season?

Have an open mind! Do the stuff the 2019 class didn’t do. Try to influence the freshman and sophomore. Always give it your all. Represent our community well.
