Ty Michael Class of 2021 O'Fallon QB 6'0 160
Ty Michael how was your season?
Personally I felt like a had a good season, I have things that I saw that I need to work on. This year I played various Varsity minutes, then at the end of the season earned my first start against Cahokia and kept and close game but ended up falling a little short.
What did you learn from Christian Curtis?
Some things I learned were how to make good back side reads on run plays and how to step and face adversity when things aren’t going your way.
What does football mean to you?
Football means the world to me, I started playing football when I was 5 years old, I love going out there with all of my brothers on Friday nights in front of a great home crowd, I have goals of being able to play football after high school and into the collegiate level.
What do you like about playing QB?
The reason I like playing quarterback is the aspect of being the team leader, I love being able to make reads and be able to pick apart the defense.
What is one thing that you plan on improving in the offseason?
One thing I am working to improve on is my weight and mobility, right now I am weighing in at 165 and my goal by next season is to be up to 180. Another thing is my mobility for when there is a designed run play or when a play breaks down I can get the necessary yardage.
What game are you looking forward to the most next season?
There will be a lot of games I am looking forward to as we are looking to get our revenge on a lot of the teams that we fell short to last year, I am looking forward to the game against the defending Missouri state champions, CBC our first game at home of the 2019 season.
What would you like college coaches to know about you?
I would like them to know that I am hard working leader and that I will do anything I can to help get the team better and will do anything to help win games.
