Chatting With Brother Rice's Giacomo Iraci Class Of 2020 DB & A Player To Keep An Eye Out Fo

So in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for Illinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know , but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams

Giacomo Iraci Brother Rice DB Class of 2020 6'2 175

Giacomo Iraci how was your season?

I think the season went well. We really came together this year as a team. Although it wasn’t the ending we liked, I think we put Brother Rice back on the map. And we’re all hungry for next year.

What does football mean to you?

Football means everything to me. I love the game, the grind, and most important the relationships I’ve made with some of my teammates. Some of those guys are like brothers to me. And football really does teach some GREAT life lessons.

What schools have you talked to?

Notre Dame, Cincinnati, Iowa State and Michigan State all invited me to games this year. Also I just met with the Duke coach at school this week.

What would you like college coaches to know about you?

I would like them to know that I’m a VERY hard worker. Also that I’m always playing with a chip on my shoulder. I want to be the best at everything, and I also like to push my teammates to be there best.

What is one thing you plan to work on in the offseason to get you ready for the 2019 season?

I plan to really hit the weights and get bigger and faster this offseason. Also can’t forget the little things like footwork and other drills. Boom 7v7 really helps with certain technique and other college level drills and high level coaching.

Give me a young Brother Rice player I should be on the lookout for?

I believe you should lookout for Myles Jones ‘21. Dude is a BEAST. He was laying the wood this year for us as a sophomore. There’s a lot of new juniors stepping up for us this season, who I think will have break out years next year.

What game are you looking most forward to next season?

LOYOLA
