Trevor Borland Bolingbrook Class of 2020 6'4 220

Trevor Borland how was your season?

The season went very well although it ended too short! I feel like I had a good season. I was able to produce some great film. I also was able to build great relationships with some really good guys on the team.

What schools have you talked to?

I’ve been talking to Wisconsin quite a bit. I’ve also talked to Iowa State, Minnesota, and Michigan State. I’m actually going on a Minnesota visit this Saturday. Rutgers a bit as well

What would you like college coaches to know about you?

I’m a fearless competitor, I will lineup in front of anyone and I’ll give them everything I got and I hate losing more than anyone. I don’t take any plays off. I’m a hard worker on and off the field and in the classroom. I also try to be the best student of the game that I can be. I’m willing to do anything if it meant my team could win. And I keep good character with everything that I do

What position do you feel most comfortable in?

Definitely tight end it’s my most favorite position on the field and I feel like I perform well there

What does football mean to you?

Football is everything, I eat sleep and breath it and can’t get enough of it. It runs in my blood. I’ve been blessed to have my dad who was a terrific football player teach me everything he knows. Football has taught me many life lessons. I think about it all the time and after my playing career I would love to get into coaching so in a way you can say it’s my whole life

What do you think you need to work on in the offseason the most?

Getting stronger and faster. I’m also going to put on some weight. I’m about 225 right now and I’m going to get to 240.

How good can Bolingbrook be next season?

We can be a pretty decent team. We have a lot of slots to fill offensively but on defense we have 8 starters coming back. Traditionally Bolingbrook teams have no problem finding good athletes
