Logan Brown how was your season?
It was a great season, we graduated 19 seniors and everyone wrote us off and predicted us to go 2-7 and we lost our first two games won 9 straight to make the third quarter final appearance in school history and the first time in 31 years.
How good is Bishop Mac?
Bishop Mac is a great ball club with a lot of comparisons to us they will line up and punch it down your throat and a real physical team, they have a lot of history in the playoff scene and was a fun game to play in especially when we went toe to toe with them every play.
Favorite memory from this season?
Proving everyone wrong who didn’t think we would be anything this year and really coming together as a team and a band of brothers and we always left everything on the field
What was your best game this season?
Mt.Zion I had 3 tds 2 rushing with 151 yards rushing and a 40 yard pick-6
What would you like college coaches to know about you?
I’m a tough player i tore my UCL on the opening kick off our Macomb game and played the rest of the game im coachable my sophomore year i started at strong safety a position i had never played before and my grades are As and Bs with a 3.5 GPA
What does Effingham football mean to you?
It’s a huge impact on my life and who i am and it makes me a better person and a better athlete and i put everything i have into every football season and try my best to make it a winning program
Give me some young Effingham players to be on the lookout for?
Tristin Duncan an amazing WR Jacob Stoneburner a hard hitting fullback and Ethan Huss one of our best lineman as a sophomore
What is one way you will better yourself for next season?
Keep my body healthy and in shape during the off season and maximize my time in the weight room outside of winter lifting.
