Greg Larsen Hall OL Class of 2020 6'3 265
Greg Larsen how was your season?
It was a really good year. We had a lot of juniors starting and a young line but we made a great impact. We made it to the 2nd round but took a tough loss. I feel like we are one of the best teams the school has seen recently
Favorite memory this season?
Well there’s a lot to choose from but I’d have to go with when I was named captain for the week of our homecoming game. It put a lot of pressure on my shoulders but it really pumped me up to play.
How good is Anthony Buchanan from a teammate's perspective?
He is a great teammate. He will push you to become better and it just shows how much he wants the team to win. He’s always trying to help teach and to keep people going. He runs very hard too and gives every play his 100% effort
What would you like college coaches to know about you?
I would like college coaches to know that I have a very good work ethic and I am extremely coachable. I try to out work everyone else and prove myself every time I get a chance.
What does Hall football mean to you?
It means so much to me. I’ve always loved football and my team mates are definitely the best family I could ask for. I’d love to do something great for this school and all of its supporters.
What do you like about playing on the line?
A lot of people say they want to play running back and qb but I personally love the line. It’s a lot more technique than people think and it definitely helps when you have some other great linemen around you.
Who are some young players on Hall I should keep an eye out for?
Well we have so many playmakers all over the field so it’d be hard to only say a few. Some people who had really good seasons were our quarterback Grant Resetich, running back Marshall Walk, linebacker Cole Wozniak, and offensive lineman Aleks Vasic. I really think you should keep an eye on our whole team too, we have so many great players.
Who was the toughest defensive linemen you faced this season?
I’d say it was either Chase Tatum from Princeton or Akira Lindsey from Monmouth-Roseville. Chase had a lot of speed moves and strength to go with it. Akira was definitely the strongest and possible smartest defensive lineman I went up against all season.
How good can this Hall team next season?
We could be great next season. We will have a very big and strong offensive line and we have starters returning and other seniors returning too as well as some juniors who could find some playing time. If everyone buys in this offseason I really feel like we have the potential to go all the way.
