So in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for Illinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know , but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams

What has been your favorite memory so far this season?

My favorite moments this year have been watching our team come together to close games. Instead of giving up when we were behind, our guys rallied to put us back up or hold the lead to end games. Sometimes it was our offense or our record-setting kicker and sometimes it was our defense.

You have gone against this St. Charles North team in the regular season. What is the hardest thing about defending their WRs?

St. Charles North is a great team and we have tremendous respect for all aspects of their program, including their passing game. We’ll be prepared on Saturday!

What does football mean to you?

Football has been a big part my life for as long as I can remember. After I started playing at 4 years old, I have spent the last 13 years trying to improve my game. My passion for the game is part of my identity. Whether it’s in practice, games, or hanging out with friends, a football has always been involved and not having the playing aspect of the game in my life after this year is going to be a big struggle.

Funniest teammate on the team?

I think that on our team, our captain, starting nose guard, all conference, defensive line conference MVP, Jack Kelly, is for sure the funniest guy on the team. He knows how to bring a smile to people's faces even in times of doubt and anger.

Give me a young WWS player to keep an eye on that no one really hasn't?

A young WWS football player to keep on your radar is Eddie Robinson, a Sophomore RB/DB. Eddie is a fast, strong, aggressive athlete that can play with anyone he goes against. Eddie is the type of player that you can put the ball in his hands at the end of the game when you need something to happen, and he will be successful.

When I say "Senior Season" what does that mean to you?

Senior season to me means it’s my turn to step up and be a leader and help lead our team to success. Knowing our program’s success in the past, we hope to continue that this year. Our Senior class has done a great job motivating everyone and making sure everyone gives it their all and never gives up, even when we’re down. The chemistry between our Junior and Senior class is truly something. We really are a band of brothers and we know how to work well together. Senior season also means it’s likely my last year of football, which is sad, but I try to make the most of it and perform to the best of my ability while I still have the opportunity to play this game.
