Addison Keltner what does EPC football mean to you?
EPC football to me is a brotherhood, playing physical football, getting better every time you step in the weight room or on the practice field and laying it all out on the line for the guy next to you knowing he will do the same.
What does NUIC football mean to you?
NUIC is some of the most competitive small school football in the state, and if you don’t bring it every game, no matter the team you can get beat.
Favorite memory so far this season?
It’s hard to pick a single favorite memory so far, but one of them has to be going 9-0 regular season and winning the NUIC Conference title with my teammates
So what do you see in this Chicago Christian team?
I see a talented team with a lot of speed
What do you like about playing on the line?
I like the fact that it’s one of the most important parts of the team, and you’re constantly in a battle with someone across from you trying to make a play
Give me some players I should be on the lookout from EPC?
I believe all 11 on each side of the ball are ones to be watching but if I were to name a couple RB #5 Jayden Kempel, RB and CB Jarod Kempel, QB #2 Braden Smargiassi, and WR #11 Lucas Petersen. As a lineman I also like to give credit to the guys up front on the O-line too, they do a great job at opening holes and giving our QB time to throw
Funniest guy on the EPC team?
That’s a hard one, a lot of our guys like to have fun and joke around, but if I had to pick one it has to be Caleb Tichler or Brock Smargiassi.
What needs to happen for you guys to win Saturday?
I think defensively, we need to contain their speed and stop their run, and offensively, be disciplined up front by getting the guys blocked correctly and picking up the blitzes
