Matt McGraw 3-2 with huge victory over Stevenson... How has last Friday's victory changed things in the lockerroom?
The whole team has a lot of confidence now. I think last week is going to be the turning point of our season. We are practicing at a lot better pace and guys are really energized.
What has been your favorite memory so far this season?
One that will last forever is beating Stevenson in OT. That was the biggest game I’ve ever played in and it was such a great feeling to get a victory in a game like that.
How do you think you have improved during the season as a QB?
I’ve become a lot more confident as a QB over the course of this season. I’ve learned from my mistakes and I think our team as a whole is really starting to find our groove.
What should college coaches know about you?
I’m very competitive and I’ll do whatever it takes to help the team win.
How does Libertyville look to you as a player?
I think they are very underrated. They played some tough teams so they are a lot better than what their record shows. We can’t take them lightly.
What does football mean to you?
It’s the only sport where you have to rely on 10 other guys to do their part on every play to be successful and that’s what I love about it. The bond you have with your teammates lasts forever.
This is your last year of High School football... What does that mean to you?
I can’t have any regrets. There’s no next year so I have to leave it all on the field because when it’s over, it’s over.
