Brady Masengale Blue Ridge Class of 2020 ATH 5'10 180

Brady Masengale how does Blue Ridge look this season?

We look good. We’re still in the midst of rebuilding our program, but after going 4-5 last seeing the community and players are buying in

What does Blue Ridge football mean to you?

The first thing that comes to mind when I think of Blue Ridge football is adversity. Through all the years of losing we faced relentless adversity. We still face adversity every game but we overcome it

Favorite memory from last season?

Definitely winning our homecoming game in dominant fashion in front of our home crowd

What goal do you have for yourself this season?

Growing more as a vocal leader on our team and reaching the playoffs for the first time in 17 years

What game are most looking forward to this season?

Definitely week 3 against Macomb. We had a great game against them last year and feel like we can make another one, this time in there place

What side of the ball do you like to play on the most?

Honestly, I don’t have a preference. I like making plays and having an impact on the game. Fortunately enough, I can do that at both positions on both sides of the ball.

Give me a player on Blue Ridge that you think will have a big season?

Me and my number one receiver, Nick Burrow, really started to gain connection last year towards the end and it’s definitely grown over the summer. I’m expecting him to put up big numbers this year
