Alex Hirschfield what schools have you been talking to?
I have been in contact with Butler, Davidson, Brown, Holy Cross, Cornell, Dayton, Drake, Miami of Ohio, and Elon, along with some other smaller schools.
What would you like college ooaches to know about you?
I want coaches to know that I am a leader, work very hard, love the game, and leave it all on the field.
So how does Sandburg look this season?
We aren’t the team with a ton of big names, but we are scrappy and we work hard. I think we are going to surprise some people this year.
Favorite memory from last season?
It has to be during our game vs Curie. The game went into overtime and we were on defense first. I intercepted a pass on the goal line. Our offense then kicked a field goal and we won the game.
What is one game that you wish you could replay from last season?
I would have to say our game against HF. I was sick and only played the first half. HF has some really good players and it would of been awesome to be able to compete against them when I was 100%
Funniest guy in the Sandburg lockerroom?
Nick Annerino no question. He always has us laughing and does the best Donald Trump impression I have ever seen
Give me a young Sandburg player that college coaches should be on the lookout for?
Kevin Zimmer. He is our freshman QB. He works very hard and is a great athlete. Kevin will definitely attract some attention from colleges soon.
