COACH BIG PETE'S TAKE
Cesar is a linebacker that impressed me on Week 9 GOTW last season. Reads his keys and makes the big stop against the offense with great execution. Technique is one of the best for this class, and his speed is underrated.

Valparaiso, Harvard, Mckendree, UIndy, Amhurst, Kenyon
What does Peoria Richwoods football mean to you?
It means being unselfish, hardworking, competitive and having mental and physical toughness.
You looked great last season, What part of your game did you work in the offseason?
I did a lot of lifting, running, and agility work this offseason. Also I really focused on becoming a leader for my team as well
Favorite memory from last season?
Beating Triad in the playoffs.
What do you like about playing linebacker?
I like being a linebacker because I feel like the heart of the defense. I have to bring a certain intensity and toughness to set the tone for the rest of the team. Also, I just love to hit people
So how does Peoria Richwoods look this season?
We are young, but I am very excited for this season. Our Defense will include huge play makers safety Joe Jackson, safety Joe Berns and Defensive Lineman Donnovan Bolden. On Offense we have a very fast Quarterback Jalen Russle, and great receivers such as Nate Wilburn and Harshith Tripathi, Cameron Bell, and Juwann Holmes. We have a lot of potential and with a great coaching staff led by Coach Brown, we will be very strong this season.

Rock Island
What goal do you have for yourself this season?
Lead my team to state! Personal rewards will come as a result.
