So in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for Illinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know , but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams

Ryne Faulk RB/LB/ATH Class of 2019 El Paso-Gridley 5'11 190

Ryne Faulk what schools have you talked to?

I have only talked to a couple schools at this point, Augustana and Indiana State University.

What does football mean to you?

I love football, I have dedicated my high school years to make myself as good as I can be for my team. I would love to keep playing after high school and can’t wait to play this fall.

How does El Paso-Gridley look this season?

We are pretty low on numbers compared to years past but that doesn’t mean much to the kids who are playing. We know what we need to do and are hungry to go win some more playoff games!

Favorite memory from last season?

Definitely beating Knoxville at home in 2nd round of the playoffs.

What should college coaches know about you?

I have a passion for the game and am willing to do anything to make myself a better athlete/football player

Name me a player on El Paso-Gridley that college coaches should know besides you?

Drew Gilbert

Game you are looking most forward to this season?

Week 9 @ Fieldcrest, their senior night.

What is better to you game winning tackle or a game winning td run?

I would have to say a TD run beccause to me that is more of a team success
