So in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for Illinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know , but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams

Cole Kiesewetter OL Class of 2019 Oswego 6'4 295

COACH BIG PETE'S TAKE

Cole is an elite offensive linemen for the Class of 2019 in Illinois. Requires more looks than he is getting, finishes his block on the run. Great hip movement, center low gravity that is key for any great offensive linemen. Take a serious look at this Oswego offensive line, this O-Line could be one of the best in the state of Illinois.

Cole Kiesewetter what schools have you been talking to?

North Dakota state, Drake, Northern Michigan, Grand valley state, Ferris state, western Michigan, Mankato and Moorhead, Carthage, Indiana state, and Concordia St. Paul

What do you want college coaches to know about you?

That I am a hard worker, team player and the most aggressive person on the field every play of the game

What did you work on in the offseason to better your game for the upcoming season?

Trench warfare definitely helped my conditioning and technique but I all comes down to grinding in the weight room every day and improving your strength

Oswego has pretty good line this season... Your thoughts?

Yes we haven’t lost many guys and we are mostly all returning starters from last year, but we all have been playing together since youth football and we have a lot of chemistry

Favorite memory from last season?

Definitely the crosstown game against Oswego east, everyone is there to cheer us on and they are our toughest opponents every year so it’s always a game to look forward to

What goal do you have for yourself this season?

I wouldn’t say I have a goal for myself but for the team as a whole, our biggest goal as a team is always to win state, but it starts with winning our conference and playing our best every game

Give me a Oswego player that college coaches might now know but need to know?

Jack Huginin is a junior for our team this year, he is a big DT and he is going have a breakout season, also Brett Suter, he is our right guard and he is a returning starter from last year, he is only a junior this year and is gonna have a breakout season as well
