Xavier Sanchez Antioch Class of 2019 OL/DL 6'5 295
Xavier Sanchez is a football player first and foremost, this kid would be a perfect piece to any college team. Great on both sides of the line, but cant wait to see his progression this season as a DT.
Xavier Sanchez what schools have you been talking to?
Concordia St.Paul, NIU, Augustina, SIU , ISU , Eastern Michigan, Western Michigan, Kent State, Kansas State
What did you do in the offseason to improve your game for the this upcoming season?
Wrestling for a bit, then did lacrosse weightlifting and cardio
How was wrestling for you this season?
I was ranked number 2 in the beginning of the season when I could lose the extra weight so I didn't wrestle just practice with my teammates
How has wrestling helped your football technique?
Staying low helped me be fast on my feet and move side to side And cardio
So exciting times for Antioch Football this season. What game are you looking most forward to this season?
Defending the conference championship making it 3 years in a row . Playing with my brothers on the field to go far in the playoffs and make it happen for my coach who deserves a championship. Being a great player for my team
Why do you like playing on the line?
Because that is a important spot and I love blowing thru line and sack the quarterback and running back in the backfield
Give me a Antioch player that college coaches should take a look at?
I don't know why this team mate of mine has been flying under the radar Zach Grinley
This is your Senior Season.. What does that mean to you?
It's very difficult because I love playing football for Coach Brian and my teammates. The last game will be very emotional for me but can wait to play hard all season long for my team and then to the next chapter in my life.
