Dan Daley is one of the more under the radar players in the state of Illinois for the Class of 2019. Instinctive linebacker, who reads his keys and makes the tackle. Does not hesitate and takes on blockers and pretty good in the coverage game as well.

Dan Daley what schools have you been talking to?
Recently I have talked to Coaches from UW Lacrosse, Olivet Nazarene and Valparaiso
What do you like about playing linebacker?
Obviously I love the physical-ness of the position, but I really enjoy the versatility. Some plays you’re up with the big guys trying to shed blocks and fill holes, the next you’re dropping back in coverage, you’re not stuck doing much of the same thing all game.
How weird is the DuKane Conference move feel to you?
Nothing has changed, we will play our same game. To me, our only competition is ourselves.
What game are you looking most forward to this season?
The first game. I think that’s what we all are most looking forward to right now as a team, stepping on the field again.

What do you want college coaches to know about you?
As a inherently competitive person, I won’t be outworked, or at least try not to be. I’ll make any program better whether I play or not initially
What does the game of football mean to you?
It means hard work, you get out what you put in, at the end of the day it’s all about how invested you are and how much you put in inside and outside of practice
What goal do you have for yourself this season?
I want our team to be even better than we were last year. Less points allowed as a defense, one game at a time.
This is your senior season, What do you want incoming freshmen to know about St. Charles North Football?
We at North have an amazing Coaching staff, they will take care of you and all aspects of teaching you the game, you just have to meet them halfway with your work ethic, it’s a process and it’s not for everyone if you aren’t here to work hard.
