COACH BIG PETE'S TAKE
Connor Butler to me has a lot potential on the offensive line after having a great sophomore campaign. Again he could be one of the top offensive linemen for the Class of 2020.
Connor Butler what schools have you been talking to?
Olivet Nazarene, Mo Baptist, Wayne St. Hoping to get to know some bigger schools after some summer camps
What do you want college coaches to know about you?
I want them to know that I pride myself on having a high football IQ and I will work harder then the person across from me and I’m not scared of anyone who wants to go up against me.
How does Rochester football look this coming season?
I think we are going to look pretty good. We have some holes to fill in some offensive positions from seniors. I think we have a pretty big and nasty line, something that Rochester has not especially been known for in the past.
When I say Coach Nelly- What does that mean to you?
It means teaching football the right way, tough football, and getting the most out of his players. It also means the best line coach in the Midwest.
What does football mean to you?
Football has always been a big part of my life ever since I was young. My dad has always coached me since 1st grade until I came to Rochester. For me, football means family, friends, and a sport that will prepare you for the real world
So what does your college camp schedule look like?
So far I’m going to Lindenwood:6/1 Possibly Illinois: 6/2 Rise and Fire: 6/3 Northwestern: 6/9 Possibly Illinois Friday Night Lights:6/15 More to come in the next week or so
What team are you looking most forward to play this season and why?
I’m most looking forward to playing SHG because there has been a lot of talk about them and their line but I think we will go at it when we play them. Plus it’s always the most hyped up game in the state.
