Dylan Heifner is an explosive playermaker for the Fairfield Mules on the offensive and defensive side of the ball. Another Black Diamond stud that deserves looks among college coaches, a small school conference producing top notch talent.

Recently talked to Northwest Missouri State University and currently trying to get film out to SIU and Mckendree
What does Fairfield football mean to you?
Football is everything to me. I don’t what I would do without it football has always been there for me and i feel like it could be my way out and really use it to show who I am and get me to college football is in my blood both my brothers were amazing players so I had a lot to live up to and I’m just grateful for the ability and talent God has blessed me football has such a huge impact on my life! I love making my family friends and supporters proud and honestly I when I’m on a football field theirs no place I’d rather be
Favorite memory from last season?
I would say when we beat Eldorado on there senior night! I played a strong game with 10 tackles and a last second sack to put them in fourth and long so when we beat them on the road it was a great feeling because we were the underdogs and came out still undefeated and we really worked as a team so I’ll always remember that game
So how does Fairfield look for the upcoming season?
Strong. I feel like our defense will yet again be a decked factor in our games we are a little under sized but we are super athletic and we love to hit we will put in a lot of work as a team and I’m really excited to see how the season plays out if we by in as a team I see another conference title coming our way
What do you like about playing in the Black Diamond Conference?
You never really know what to expect except good fundamental smash mouth football!
What would you like college coaches to know about you?
That I love the game. I mean to me it’s more than a game it’s a part of my life and I’ll always put my best foot forward and bring my A game every single day on the field or in the classroom I’ll always give my best effort.
Name a player on Fairfield that College Coaches need to take a look at and why?
Well honestly I would have to say myself I dedicate myself to the sport I feel like I have a lot of potential to better myself as a football and in the classroom I don’t think a college coach would find someone more dedicate and willing to do anything and work like I would but besides myself I would have to say Wyatt Gilbert only to being a sophomore the kids a freak athlete and has a good head on his shoulders and I don’t think coaches would have to worry about him in the classroom or not giving it his all on the field!
