Sam Caldarazzo Class of 2019 Naperville North 6'3 275

COACH BIG PETE'S TAKE

Sam Caldarazzo is quick of the snap, one of the faster interior linemen in Illinois for the Class of 2019. Great ability to neutralize a pass rusher by winning that battle of leverage is what makes Sam great. Not to mention Caldarazzo is another high character kid that wont mind having on your team.

Sam Caldarazzo what schools have you been talking to?

Illinois State, Wyoming, North Dakota State, Southern Illinois, Kent State, western Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Ball State, North Dakota, Indiana State, NIU and Toledo.

What is one area in your game that you have tried to improve in the offseason?

The one thing I have tried to improve the most on is strength also just trying to do a lineman thing and pack on more Weight!

Favorite memory from last season?

My favorite memory from last season is definitely the feeling of beating our rivals Naperville central, I had been dreaming of playing in a varsity game at Benedetti whirl stadium since I was a little kid and to go out with my brothers and battle and to win was the most amazing feeling.

Funniest guy in the lockerroom?

For sure Bo Richter he always making me laugh and always make sure it’s at the right time we have a lot of fun together before it’s time to get locked in.

Do you have goal for yourself this season?

My goal for the season is to be a leader. being a team captain I want to make sure the younger guys know tradition of the program. I also have the goal to beat central, win dvc and make a good run in the state playoffs.

Who is one player on Naperville North that college coaches might not know but should know?

Matthew Mashmeir he is a sophomore but started every varsity game and is extremely athletic I also play lacrosse with him where his athleticism shows as well. Great kid with a good personality he should be one to watch!

This will be your last high school season of football, What does that mean to you?

Personally it means that I am going to have to go out there and give it all I got. I have had the opportunity to be taught by Coach Colletti and Coach Kernes two amazing coaches and this being my last high school season should be really fun to watch but it’s not going to be my last.
