Nazareth's Defensive Linemen Nathan Lugo Class Of 2019 Does A Q&A Talks Roadrunner Football,

So in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for Illinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know , but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams.

Nathan Lugo Nazareth Class Of 2019 DL 6'3 240

Nathan Lugo what schools have you been talking to?

I’ve been talking to Columbia, Princeton, Fordham, Southern Illinois, and Stetson all of which I’ve either already visited or am going to visit. I’m also in contact with Cornell, Dartmouth, and Holy Cross

What is one thing you have been trying to improve in your game this offseason?

I’ve been building up my strength a lot recently I just maxed out on flat bench at 300lbs I’ve also been working very heavily with trainers Scot Daly, Mike Buchanan, and Enoch Smith to improve my long snapping technique, my pass rushing, speed, and footwork.

How good can this Nazareth Squad be this season?

We can and will be the best, I have complete confidence in my brothers to be successful. We have extraordinary potential as athletes and we definitely have to potential to finish what we didn’t last year. I know everyone in the Naz Football family feels that we have unfinished business and no one has lost that sour taste we got from last year.

What game are you looking most forward to this season?

We always take one game at a time, we always like to be focused in on one thing at a time so, for me it’s all about game number one that matters the most.

Who would you like to see Naz play ICCP or Montini?

I personally would love to see a Naz vs. ICCP game because a lot of our players know each other and/or are friends and would love the competition. It would be a great game, but I know our athletes would come out in the end with the win.

Who is the funniest guy in the Nazareth lockerroom?

I’d have to say Joe Seidel, he’s part of the heart of the team. I love that guy, he’s hilarious.

What motivates a Nathan Lugo?

My desire to be the best I can possibly be and my desire to make my team the best no matter the cost. I’m willing to do whatever it takes to be the best and make sure my team is successful. There are times where my coach has to kick me out of the weight room, I put every extra hour I can in lifting, training, and film as I can to ensure that I am the best and I’m contributing all I can to make sure my team is in the best position to win.

Remember Deep Dish Football Is Just Not About Recruiting But About The Love Of The Game Of Football In The IHSA

RESPECT THE GAME
