Sean Kelly plays of the line and the inside for the Red Devils defense. See Mr. Kelly as a linebacker, has a great burst of speed and uses it to get outside of the blocker and make the tackle. Handwork and ability to fight off blockers will be key in the progression of Sean's potential.
Sean Kelly what schools are you talking to?
I've been talking to a number of different schools. As far as visits, I've met with Miami Of Ohio and Toledo earlier this year, and I am visiting Columbia and Princeton this weekend for their Junior Days.
What would you like the college coaches to know about you?
I’d like them to know that I’m a versatile player who can play a few different positions and that I’d be one of the hardest working players on their team.
What was a favorite memory from last season?
My favorite memory would have to be helping the team beat our rival Lyons Township with a sack on their last drive of the game.
What is one game you wish you could have replayed last season?
Our second round playoff game vs Loyola Academy. We were young but had the talent to beat them. Although we couldn’t get it done in the end, I think that game experience will help the returning players next year.
What is one thing in your game you are trying to improve in the offseason?
I want to continue getting stronger, and improving my speed in order to be the best I can be.
What is one goal for yourself this season?
State Championship
