I have talked to Northern Illinois, Indiana state, university of Indianapolis, Western has said they were interested, Missouri Western

That I love the game of football, I am always giving 100%, and I’m always looking to get the team and myself better on and off the field

What is one thing in your game that you are trying to improve?

Speed/foot speed

Favorite memory from last season?

Winning the first round of playoffs against Aurora Christian, they had a Division 1 quarterback and wide receiver we beat the 27-18 and after the game our team was very excited and became even closer when one of our key lineman went down with a knee injury.

What does Sterling Newman Football mean to you?

It is like a family, we are a bunch of brothers that love the game of football and we are always looking to improve and inspire young kids to grow up and play the game like it is supposed to. Also, making the alumni proud.

Describe the Three Rivers Conference to people that may not know it

There is a Mississippi side with the bigger schools, and the Rock side with the smaller schools, we are in the Rock which I believe is the more competitive side. All the schools have talent and are very physical teams.

Its early, How do you think Sterling Newman looks for the upcoming season?

We are going to be a very strong, and power house football team our backfield will have 3 guys about 6 foot and 200+ in weight, we have a few positions to fill with the talented senior class graduating but we have enough athletes to where we can possibly compete to make a run in the postseason. Also, our linebacking core will be very experienced with chase graham and I being our 3rd year started and nick Clevenger a 2nd year starter as a junior

What does football mean to you?

It is a big part of my life and my family’s life, it is in my eyes the most intense, fun, and great sport ever invented. I feel when I am out on the field with my team and coaches it is like my home away from home. Without football in my life It would be a lot different because it means so much to my family and myself.
