Cade Eddington Class of 2019 WR Rochester 5'11 170
COACH BIG PETE'S TAKE
Cade Eddington is first and foremost a technician at the WR position, runs crisp routes and has a great on field !Q of course much needed in the Leonard System. Really impresses me is Cade's hands and overall athleticism at the WR spot. This is recruit that will be a riser in the summer going into the fall of the recruiting season.
BEST SHOWCASE IN ILLINOIS WITH COLLEGE COACHES
Cade Eddington what schools have you been talking to?
St. Cloud state, McKendree University, Indiana Wesleyan, and independence CC have all recently contacted me
What is one thing people should know about Rochester football?
We are really a family, we all work towards one goal every year, throughout the whole year with the same thing in mind. Everyone pushes each other to get our team where we need to be
What have you been focusing on during the offseason for training ?
Everything really but I’ve focused on trying to increase my speed and while not losing any strength. Also been looking to perfect my routes
This is a question I have always wanted to ask, Rochester is well-oiled machine fast & furious. How long in camp does it take for you to get a hang of things?
We start young in our program, down to jfl, going no huddle. And then coming into freshman year we run the same offense as varsity. But as you move up in the program it does get harder but it makes it easy on us by growing up through the program which all runs the same offense
What is one of your favorite memory of last season?
The feeling when we won state. Seeing how all of the hours and work we put in paid off and the relief of completing a 14-0 season.
Name one player on the Rochester Rocket team that we might not know but should know?
Riley Lewis, he’s our corner. We matched him up with any wide receiver no matter the size difference. He was able to shut down the best opposing wide receivers all year
What should college coaches know about you?
That I’m going to outwork every player in front of me. And that I’m not going to stop working until I get where I need to be. Also I will be able to bring something special to whatever program gives me a chance.
Do you have a favorite defensive back that you like to go up against in conference?
Not particularly, it often changed throughout the game so I never really went up against the same player all game
