The schools that I’ve had most interaction with are Western Michigan, University of North Dakota, Illinois State, Miami of Ohio, I have also had face to face conversations with Wyoming, Central Michigan, Ball state.
What is one thing that you think you need to improve in your game?
My strong suit is defense, with that being said I would like to improve my offensive ability and route running so that I could see more time on both sides of the ball.
How has playing Lacrosse help your skills in football?
Lacrosse has heavily impacted my aggressiveness, footwork, and overall athletic ability from running to jumping.
What does Metea Valley football mean to you?
Metea Valley Football is like a family to me. From all the players to all the coaches you can see there’s a true love for football. At Metea it’s team first, that’s why we play by the motto 1 team 1 fight.
If you wanted a kid to go out for Metea Valley football, What would you say to him?
I would explain to him that he has an opportunity to be apart of a program that’s more than just a football team. I’d explain how playing for Metea will build your character as a young man as well teach you responsibility and team work. Lastly I would tell him about all the great experiences I’ve had with this team.
Name me one player on Metea Valley that college coaches need to take look and why?
Austin Frederick, Austin is a tight end with good route running ability and great hands. He’s got great size and experience. Lastly Austin is accountable on the field as well as in the class room and is a great teammate.
What is a personal goal for you this season?
I know you asked me about a personal goal although to me it’s team first. I would to do everything I can to reach the playoffs. As for a personal goal I would like to achieve at least all conference and hopefully all state.
