Shane Warren is one of the best players that the Interstate Eight has to offer for the 2018 season. Manteno football has history of underrated recruits, and I know because they killed me I when I was coaching against them. Coach Haines and that Panther staff do a great job of grooming young players to replace the graduated players. Not to mention Coach Haines does one of the better jobs with young QBs in the state of Illinois.

So Shane Warren how is Manteno looking early for the 2018 Season?
we are looking pretty good, really young with a lot of seniors graduating. lots of talent coming up though and i think we will have a good run into the playoffs
Favorite moment from last season?
Favorite memory is probably getting the playoff experience at the quarterback position and playing a good game with all of my teammates
Manteno losses the likes Brendan "Ginger Ale" Borkenhagen and Brandon "Sun Glasses" Steele but for some reason Manteno finds a way to rebuild year after year.... Why do you think that is?
The coaches do a great job of preparing us in the offseason and getting us ready for when the season comes, everyone works hard and tries to get better every practice and film session
What is one thing that you are trying to improve in your game this offseason ?
I am trying to work on speed and mobility, i want to be able to scramble better and be able to outrun the defense
What is one thing you would like college coaches to know about you?
I am very coachable, good at learning new offense. Good work ethic and want great leader.
Game you looking forward to this season in the Interstate 8?
Definitely Herscher or Peotone. Both really disappointing losses this year, I feel like we have a great shot at winning both those games this year
