Great Saturday Talk With New Trier Carson Ochsenhirt QB Class Of 2019
So in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for Illinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know , but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams
Carson Ochsenhirt New Trier QB/ATH Class of 2019 5'10 170
Coach Big Pete's Take
Really starting to love this New Trier Football Program, producing players that play smart, fast, hard nose football (CREDIT TO THE STAFF AND COACH DOLL). Carson Ochsenhirt is a prime example of that program, even for a QB he takes hits to get the extra yards. Yes, he is 5'10 but he has a great arm and a nice touch on the ball. Play multi spots on the field for Offense and Defense, he is that player that college coach will always need.
Carson Ochesenhirt what schools have you been talking to?
Georgetown, Penn and Air Force
What do you feel is your strongest attribute on the field?
Definitely my running ability as a QB.
New Trier is producing some talented kids at a great rate, What does New Trier Football mean to you?
To me New Trier Football means team, hard work and competition. I look forward to every day as a New Trier Football player.
What is one thing that you need to work on in your game?
Overall, I'm just consistently trying to improve my strength and speed.
Favorite moment from last season?
I'd have to go with the Evanston game. Scoring the game clinching touchdown after my best friend Carson Kosanovich made a spectacular fumble recovery was an amazing experience.
One Game this coming season you are looking forward to? Why?
I can't wait to play Loyola week two at home.
