So in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for Illinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know , but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams.

Harper Cole Class of 2019 Waubonsie Valley WR

Harper Cole's instincts and ability not to give up on a route is what makes him special as a receiver. His ability to spilt zone coverages and give a QB a quick read will make him a highly looked at recruit.

Harper Cole what schools have you been talking to?

Seton Hill, Harvard, Columbia, Pennsylvania, and some smaller D3 schools.

One thing I noticed about you is that you dont give up on a play, What motivates a Harper Cole?

I love the game of football more than anything and throughout all my years of playing I have always felt I had to play with a chip on my shoulder because I was never the tallest or the strongest. Every time I take the field I just feel like it’s an opportunity to prove myself and the only way to do that is to go 110% each and every play.

What was a favorite memory from last season?

When our team played arguably our best game of the year against an extremely talented team in Glenbard North and we were able to come out with the W which was our first victory of the season.

What is one thing do you think you need to improve in your game?

I would say an area I could improve on is gaining more yards after the catch and making people miss.

Toughest DB you ever faced ?

Either Tyrik Henderson or Josh flowers both extremely talented players all the way around

Who is one young Waubonsie Valley player that coaches should look out for ?

Jamarri Moore (gonna be a junior) is definitely a name to know for the future. Very talented kid.

What is goal for you this season?

I want to be in the playoffs fighting for a chance to win a state title
