Peoria Richwoods Linebacker Joe Jackson 6'1 170 Class of 2019

Coach Big Pete's Take

Joe Jackson is an athlete and dangerous utility defender, can play linebacker but also safety. Perfect fit in any college scheme/defense and just makes plays and takes great pursuit tackles.

Joe Jackson, What schools have you been talking to?

Bucknell, Harvard, Princeton, and Miami of Ohio

Entering your senior season what do you feel you need to imrprove in your game?

I wanna start becoming a more verbal leader and keep improving on my strength and speed. I also want to improve on my coverage.

Peoria Richwoods is losing alot of playmakers for next season, What should people look forward to with this 2018 Richwoods squad?

We have a really stout defense coming up with a really nice defensive line with its leader Donovan Bolden, and a really talented line backer, Cesar Suarez. We also have a lot of speed with Joe Berns, Nate Wilburn, and Jalen Russle and also two upcoming sophomores, Jaymon Moore and Juwann Holmes. Also, of course a great coaching staff.

When I say "Peoria Area Football" what comes to mind?

Competitive, hard nose football !

Most memorable moment from last season?

Coming back and beating Peoria Central in over time

What offensive player are dreading to go up against next season?

I don’t know his name but definitely the junior quarterback from normal community

Remember Deep Dish Football Is Just Not About Recruiting But About The Love Of The Game Of Football In The IHSA
