Early National Signing Day In Illinois Wrap Up- Class of 2018 NIU
Well its time to wrap it up for the Early National Signing Day and everything seemed to fall in place today. Nothing dramatic in the state of Illinois, players stuck with their commitments and signed with the teams that they were suppose to.
Winners-
NIU- Northern Illinois had the best haul of Illinois players out of any school and Coach Carey & Staff deserve a standing ovation. When you can out recruit 2 Big Ten teams for in-state recruits, that says alot about your program
Indiana- Let me just put the names down-TE Matt Bjorson Hinsdale Central OL Nick Marozas Brother Rice DL Gavin McCabe Marist TE TJ Ivy Marist---. Indiana Hoosier Staff went to Illinois and pulled one of the best heists in Recruiting, taking players with elite talent and ability to play their freshman year.
SIU- Coach Hill attacked Central and Southern Illinois regions, offering slept on players that could rival their counterparts in the Chicagoland Area. Rochester QB Nic Baker could be the biggest steal for the Salukis, and keep an eye out for Justin Strong.
Indiana State- Coach Mallory basically told the staff to attack land of Lincoln, and guess what they did... Chris Childers St.Rita is a RB that plays football with a chip on his shoulders and could be a complete steal for the Sycamores.
Northwestern
Pat Fitzgerald- ENOUGH SAID
Coach Fitzgerald got his wildcats that fit the Northwestern student-athlete mold a champ in the classroom and also on the field. Got two of the best interior linemen in the state of Illinois, along with the best defensive end in the state of Illinois Devin O'Rourke.
HONOR ROLL
Cincinnati- Coach Fickell got QB Ben Bryant, ATH Jayshon Jackson, OL Jeremy Cooper, WR Alec Pierce- NOT BAD
Purdue- 3 big defenders that can boost a defense NOT BAD
NOTE- ALOT OF TEAMS STILL INCOMPLETE IN RECRUITING
